Pre-requisites

While IT careers have previously required a specific math or science courses, today’s IT careers are as diverse as today’s students. Here are just a few ideas how students can take their interests and find the right career in IT for them:

  • In the centre of the crowd wherever you go? Travel, meet people and make money using your relationship-building skills as an IT Consultant.  
  • A true “techie” at heart? Work in software or hardware or both as a Programmer, Engineer, Technologist, Architect, Manager or CIO.
The career options in IT are limitless. The key is helping your child find the career that’s right for them, then choosing the school and checking the specific pre-requisites for the program.
